What:
The Scavenger Dash is a wildly fun urban adventure.

Teams of two solve twelve clues, have a wild city adventure and complete fun challenges while discovering the city in a different way. An amazing race on a local level, where anyone can participate.

Object:

• to properly complete all the clues first.

Why: Wanna have some fun?!  This is it!  A day of excitement, fun team challenge events and a chance to enjoy the area in a way you never imagined.

Registration: fees are:$97 per team of 2 until 10/25, $120 until 11/5, $130 (cash only) til raceday.

In order to speed the check-in process, please have each of your teammates fill out and sign the waiver here: WAIVER and bring it with you.

The Scavenger Dash is primarily designed for adults, so if there are young participants, they may need assistance from an older team member. For those under 18, you may participate along with an adult over 18. We do however need this additional waiver filled out and brought to check-in. Minimum age is 12 years.

** It should be noted that no roads are closed to accommodate you, and you are 100% responsible for your own safety while traveling which may include crossing busy streets.**

What Happened?:

Despite the threat of bad weather, 30 teams showed up to brave what Mother Nature and Scavenger Dash might throw their way.  Is anyone going to look at skittles and cotton balls in the same way from now on?  Ben Hart and Matthew Bloom of The Bodhi Brothers raced in for first place with a time of 1:52.  Nice job, guys!  Although the team named A Giant Beating wore a very clever costumes, the audience decided that Best Costume should go to The Schmunkins of Schmunkinville.  Can you believe she did the whole race in heels??  A huge thanks to Elephant & Castle, The Irish Bank and The Wreck Room for being such great hosts.  San Francisco, we will see you next year!!
